Project Psilo explores Psilocybin Mushrooms or Magic Mushrooms, its origins and effects both as a recreational drug and as an alternative form of medicine in Psychedelic-assisted Psychotherapy.

My professor, Rik Sokolowicz, urged me to submit my documentary to the Canadian Media Educators national competition for the Long Documentary category. I managed to bag an honorable mention but I still consider it as a personal triumph. Especially since majority of my classmates did topics related to the Covid pandemic during that time, I went to the opposite spectrum and chose Magic Mushrooms as my documentary topic. Unfortunately even with my documentary having this honour, Canadore College, decided to snub my documentary and not include it at the annual The School of Art and Design Showcase because of my controversial topic.
